			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The short animation <em>The Not-So-Great Eugene Gr</em>ee<em>n</em> has scooped up 3 Awards at the <strong><a href="http://www.inthebin.net.au/Festival-Films.html" target="_blank">In The Bin Short Film Festival</a></strong> in QLD, where it won <strong><a href="http://www.inthebin.net.au/Festival-Films.html" target="_blank">Best Animation</a></strong><a href="http://www.inthebin.net.au/Festival-Films.html" target="_blank">, </a><strong><a href="http://www.inthebin.net.au/Festival-Films.html" target="_blank">Best Sound Design</a></strong> (Markus Kellow) and <strong><a href="http://www.inthebin.net.au/Festival-Films.html" target="_blank">Best Production Values</a></strong>.  Director Michael Hill and Producer Melanie Brunt are thrilled as this is the first award for the animation, which premiered in June 2009 at the Sydney Film Festival.</p>
<p>This marks the third win for Melanie Brunt at this festival; the short film <em>Dugong</em> which she produced won <strong>Best Film</strong>, <strong>Best Actor</strong> (Luke Elliot) and <strong>Best Actress</strong> (Sue Jones) in 2008; and her VCA film <em>Rain</em>, which she wrote, directed and edited won <strong>Best Film</strong> there in 2001.</p>
<p><em>The Not-So-Great Eugene Gr</em>ee<em>n</em> has been nominated for a AFI Award for Best Animation, and will screen in Adelaide at the <a href="http://shortsfilmfestival.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/SHORTS-09_program4.pdf" target="_blank">Shorts Film Festival</a> in December.</p>
